Анотація

Запальні захворювання органів малого таза (ЗЗОМТ) посідають перше місце у структурі гінекологічної захворюваності і є однією з причин порушення функції не тільки репродуктивних органів, але і різних систем жіночого організму, безплідності, зниження якості життя. До ЗЗОМТ належать запальні процеси тіла матки, маткових труб, яєчників і тазової очеревини.

У статті наведені сучасні погляди щодо етіологічних чинників, етапів розвитку ендогенної інфекції і її клінічних проявів. Розглянуто механізми ендокринної та імунної регуляції мікробіоценозу піхви, а також взаємини ендогенної мікрофлори і збудників екзогенних статевих інфекцій. Представлені діагностичні підходи та принципи терапії ЗЗОМТ з урахуванням вираженості інфекційного процесу.
